If you choose to submit scholarship, articles should between 15,000 and 25,000 words, not including notes and citations. Articles under 15,000 words may be considered for online publication. Articles over 25,000 words will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The Stanford Law & Policy Review is a widely cited academic journal at Stanford Law School that explores current issues at the nexus of law and public policy. For each issue, we solicit articles from prominent academics, practitioners, policymakers, judges, and other experts. Past contributors include current President-elect Joe Biden, President Bill Clinton, Senator John McCain, Senator Charles Schumer, Senator Russ Feingold, and Governor Jeb Bush, among many others.
