University of Detroit Mercy Law Review
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
The University of Detroit Mercy Law Review is currently accepting submissions for publication in Volume 101. As we are a general legal journal, we are seeking submissions on any topic. We will be accepting submissions on a rolling basis for the print version of our journal, offered in three issues every academic year.
Since 1916, the University of Detroit Mercy Law Review has contributed to the legal scholarship of the State of Michigan and the nation. Through its publications, the University of Detroit Mercy Law Review strives to meaningfully contribute to the revitalization of the City of Detroit and advance legal discourse throughout the country. University of Detroit Mercy Law Review articles have also been heavily cited in party and amicus briefs submitted to the United States Supreme Court. Articles published by the University of Detroit Mercy Law Review were relied on in briefs submitted in Obergefell v. Hodges, Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., and Hollingsworth v. Perry, to name a few.
While we strongly prefer submissions to be made through Scholastica, we will also accept submissions sent to lawreview@udmercy.edu. If you choose to email your submission, please include “Vol. 101 Submission” in the subject line.
We look forward to reviewing your submissions!
